Comments: I used this in a class and it seemed user-friendly, but probably is not very powerful for full data analysis. I think it made a great teaching tool though.

Comments: Loads all file types that I want. Easy to integrate surfaces, volumes, tracks, freesurfer cortical extractions, etc. Great for making visualizations.

Comments: There is a steep learning curve to use this very elegant and complex software tool, but once you master the basics it is very easy to use. And most important it is really awesome for the ability to automate the procedures that you use regularly.

Comments: Slicer's displays of 3D are beautiful...and the tutorials are lovely. I think there may still be some kinks in the newest release (I had a few crashes and seemingly inconsistent behaviors). They may need a little while to catch up. I'd love to see a user manual (like the one for bioimage suite) I'd also like to see better support for nifti format dti images: either conversion to nrrd format or support for reading and displaying nifti dti directly. I suspect a lot of people are using fsl's excellent dti tools...and it'd be great to have a complimentary veiwer.
