Purpose

MyFirstNEURON is a NEURON demo written by Arthur Houweling after the book Electrophysiology of the Neuron by John Huguenard and David McCormick (New York 1994, Oxford University Press). MyFirstNEURON allows you to simulate experiments described in the book. The demo is appreciated best by following the suggestions of the book.
